UNICORN is a band I’ve had the honor of working with. You Are is musician Tonje’s 2nd full-length album - her first after 20 years. Over the last 2 years I’ve helped Tonje prepare for the release of You Are by designing the CD and Vinyl Album Designs - both the packaging and the lyrical booklets. I then helped her prepare her website and create mockups for sharing her beautiful work.
YOU ARE is a collection of robust and melodic tunes, a musical melting pot featuring elements of uptempo pop, rock, prog, a dash of folk/country, a skank of ska, and a sprinkle of dreamy/jazzy vibes. Composed and produced by Tonje Ettesvoll in both Norway and California, the album boasts collaborations with world-class musicians, including the phenomenal Marco Minnemann on drums and the enchanting Sidsel Walstad on harp.
