I have always wanted to paint Jupiter, especially the spot. Perhaps it seemed too intimidating, the greatness of it. The planet and the energy that swirls clouds so. As I explored my iPad and the watercolor tools in Adobe Fresco I immediately felt the nostalgia of recreating it myself. I poured over hundreds of photos and video, artist renderings and scientific articles and over the course of a couple days I landed on this composition. Power and a whimsical defiance.
